Grow as a Leader

One of the most valuable skills that I bring as an executive and leadership coach is to reflect back to you, with crystal clarity and no judgment, the inner dynamics of how your mind makes decisions.

When you develop an awareness and what you inner dynamics are and how they affect your leadership style,  you gain a broader view of the lens through which you see the world, and the strengths and abilities you didn’t know you have been revealed.

Connect to Your Values

Your values are your roadmap to being able to recognize what you want and lead your life with your Authentic Self is in charge.  Values are who we are… not who we would like to be or not who we think we should be. When you are aligned with your values, you feel most yourself. For this reason, your core values serve as the key ingredients to being a successful leader.

Knowing your core values is the cornerstone of stepping into your authentic self. Our values serve as a compass, pointing out what it means to be true to oneself. When we honor our values on a consistent basis, we can grow as a leader.

Connect your Values to your Saboteurs

Success starts with uncovering self-sabotaging beliefs that are holding you back. Saboteurs are only powerful because they have attached themselves to something we care about. They give us information about what you value. We only believe our saboteurs because they are really pushing a value button like “I messed up” tells me that you care about what? Successful leadership starts with uncovering self-sabotaging beliefs that are holding you back. When you know your non-negotiable values, you are able to set boundaries and limits and make decisions from a place of strength and your own inner wisdom.

We tend to self-sabotage because we haven’t gotten real or truly honest with who we really are and what we really want. Understanding your strengths and abilities you didn’t know you had and will help you separate out the saboteur voices from the truth.

Saboteurs are only powerful because they have attached themselves to something we care about. They give us information about what you value. We only believe our saboteurs because they are really pushing a value button like “I messed up” tells me that you care about what?

Discover Your Patterns, Boundaries and Critical Communication Skills

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), also called Compassionate Communication was created by the American psychologist Marshall B. Rosenberg who recognized that the way in which people use language, often favors the escalation of violence. When people express their feelings within the NVC model, they are taking responsibility for the way they feel and do not rely on others to interpret, guess or imagine. Practicing this system will help eliminate negative emotions, resolve conflict with ease and lead to harmonious and peaceful connection.

The process is collaborative and will encourage you (and your team) to focus attention away from judging others and instead, discovering what other people feel and what is important to them. You can bring the other person in at some point and share the system. It becomes an exploration, like learning a secret language system.

Using the Enneagram to understand your core personality type, strengths and areas to grow

The next step is to begin to understand your core personality type and strengths that arise from your internal and external world view is the Enneagram. It’s is a model of the human psyche that is used for personal development along with understanding who you are and how that affects all your relationships, including core partner, children, family, in your work life, along with organizations, teams, and corporate settings.

When you discover and explore your type, you have access to a deeper level of clarity on the habitual patterns that subconsciously drive and motivate you, your behavior, and your choices. This system also gives insight into your inherent strength and gifts.

Meet Your Inner Leader

It’s time to meet your Inner leader, your Inner wisdom, Leader Within, or your Inner Authority… whatever name you choose to call it, it is the powerful multidimensional aspect of yourself. We are here to consciously develop a relationship with that part of you.

  • Feel confident and worthy
  • Deeply trust in your potential
  • Learn from failures
  • Create professional boundaries
  • Make a greater impact

Develop Presence

Presence is the quality of being mindful and aware in the present moment. When you sit in presence, you bypass habitual behavior that is reactive and negative.

Be Resilient

Developing your innate ability to restore mental and emotional equanimity when you get knocked off balance is one key to living a fulfilling life. In our success-driven culture, it’s easy to end up on the fast lane to burnout.

Burnout is not something that occurs overnight. We tend to go back and forth with it for a while before realizing how deep we are or start feeling the physical consequences.

In our coaching, I guide you to develop your resilience muscles and tackle problems head-on. Dealing with change, loss, conflict or obstacles is an inevitable part of life. When your resilience is high, you can overcome overwhelm and eliminate stress and recover more quickly from setbacks.

My one-on-one coaching will help you get clear on your core values and beliefs. When you know your non-negotiable values, you are able to set boundaries and decisions from a place of strength and your inner wisdom.
